With economic inactivity rising, a recent report from PwC reveals how UK businesses are grappling with the impact on productivity and performance, and what can be done to stop more people from stepping away from the workforce. While nine in ten employers say they’re concerned, many remain hesitant to hire those who have taken time out. Mental health, unfulfilling work and cultural gaps all come into focus, especially among younger workers.
